My cpu's have been P3 1ghz --> AMD 2000XP --> Athlon64 3200+.. so it will be the first intel in a while, and that's a little disappointing for me... Not because I'm a fanboy, but it's just that AMD having had the performance lead for a while has done great things for competition and prices. Intel is such a behemoth that it wouldn't have hurt at all for AMD to keep the lead for some time longer. I hope the K8L is a sweet chip and bests conroe. The sooner the better too.
