I can't seem to get it to open a new tab whenever I open a favorite/bookmark. I've tried all the options. Does it not do this, or am I missing something? As it is now, if I open a new link from favorites, it just opens it on top of the most recent tab, instead of making a new one.

This weekend, I'm chastizing my older son a bit because he's kinda got an inflated ego and thinks he's hot shit. He's a nice looking kid and all the girls are gaga over him and it's kinda crazy, the lucky bastage. Anyway, he's gotten kinda cocky and some of his good friends are tired of his 'yeah, im hot' attitude and they didn't invite him to go do stuff this weekend. Anyway, I'm telling him to just chill out and keep quiet, or his friends are gonna think he's a tool and not want to run around with him. I go, "Don't you see what's happening here? Wake up. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. Your friends are excluding you because of your attitude." And Mrs. Phil pipes up and goes "Through the trees." and I'm like WUT? And she says, "The saying is 'You can't see the forest through the trees". I just fkn lol'd.
Then, the SAME afternoon, we're talking about sports or basketball or whatever, and she goes, "I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT BASKETBALL" and, being anal and always grammatically correct - I say, "Actually, the phrase is 'I couldn't care less". Haha and she goes, "No it's not, because I COULD CARE LESS means I could care any less than what I'm caring right now." so hilarious. i have to laugh and post it here or I'm going to kill myself. thx for letting me vent.

So here’s my conundrum:
I already have a DS, but I’m really looking hard at a DS Lite. At the same time for some reason, I’ve been thinking hard about getting a PS2 (never had one, but I know there’s lots of good games out there).
So what would you do? Would you go ahead and get the DS Lite, and try to unload your current DS? Or would you keep your current DS and get a PS2? Should I even bother with a PS2 at this stage even though I’ve never really had a chance to play any games on it?

Out of curiosity, I just confirmed that the process I described for HL2 ( http://www.shacknews.com/ja.zz?id=9016289 ) is largely the same to retrieve Ep1's music. It runs at over 22 minutes of new stuff, and the first step is to download GCFScape. I'd get v1.3.1 myself, because Net 2.0 is a bottle of worms that I'd like to not open.
Then, navigate to your SteamApps folder (probably in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\) and open "episode 1 shared.gcf". Navigate to episodic->sound->music and all the files are there in the right-hand column. Select them all, right-click, and choose extract. After that, just pick the output folder and you have yourself delicious mp3s of the music without relying to fanciness like transcoding

So... I recently went and got myself a Leadtek DTV1000 T. on the basis that it was A) cheap, and B) I could plug the PS2 into it and thus be able to use the PS2 at leisure, rather than wait for the family to stop watching Big Brother or Neighbours or something equally bash-head-against-brick-wall worthy.
Now it runs just fine when it comes to using it for the PS2... But watching TV is another matter... I can get it to display a grand total of... ONE channel. One, free to air, channel. Out of 5. That's one. Somewhat aggravated am I. I'm referring to Australian channels, but really, one channel is somewhat annoying.
My questions are twofold, and are thus:
1.) Is there anything I can do, other than take a hammer to the blasted thing, suggestions on what I can try?
2.) Are there any decent programs I can use in place of the one that came with the card? This winfast DTV thing is rather pap, so is there any other program I can use for Windows?
so in short: Need help with TV Tuner, can't get it to show more than one channel, also need better program for it.

My Nokia is dying...
I was looking at the Motorola SLVR L7 and at the Cingular store it was 300 bucks w/ no contract. I checked eBay and I see phones for like 80-150 bucks which I'll got for but shipping is like freaking 50-80 bucks or more! And I see phones that say things like "Unlocked" and have no clue what it means to me.
Any advice/experience on the phone I have in mind, shopping tips, and where's the best place to get it online without these crazy shipping rates?

I have like 3 different programs that came with various hardware or whatever for the purpose of creating DVD movies; and they are all poop.
I use Windows movie maker to capture the video off the camcorder, so I’m good there. I think you can do some basic editing in that too, so I prob don’t need more ability to edit video. I just need a good programs that has a nice amount of options to create DVD menus, and maybe stick in slideshows, and convert my video to the proper resolution/format for DVD.
Any suggestions?

But even more interesting is the fact that I'm hearing lines of dialogue and figuring out tactics I totally missed the first time through. Different actions illicit different responses from Alyx, which makes the experience totally different. Great stuff, I'm really impressed. Much love, can't wait for #2.

London must be the capital of fast food and chain restaurants. There's also probably more trees in the Greater London Area than the top 10 North American cities combined.
Paris is filthy - the air is filthy, the water is filthy, the underground smells like piss, there's graffiti everywhere and if your eyes don't keep to the ground you'll step on dog shit.

So I have been playing with my DS lite for about a week now and it is just fantastic. I resolved my weird controll issues by calibrating it a couple of times with the stylus. Anyways, I was looking at the gamecube and really couldn't figure out for the life of me why nintendo didn't include hookup for the DS with the gamecube. I then remembered they were both 802.11b so hopefully I will be able to play four swords on my Wii using the DS. I really do wonder what nintendo is going to do with the DS and Wii connectivity though since a DS controller pretty much flys in the face of what Nintendo is trying to do with the Wii.
Also the wii is going to be $199.99 at launch, that iwll include a Wii+controller. The $250 version is going to be 2 controllers, shotgun accesory, universal controller, and Wii sports+duckhunt.

This is the second anniversary of Killdozer.
"52 year old welder Marvin lived in Grunbee fixing vehicle mufflers. His small repair shop was located near a concrete factory called Mountain Park. To Marvins and his neigbours' horrors, the owners of Mountain park decided to expand the factory, forcing the people living near-by to sell their land to Mountain Park.
Sooner or later the factory's neigbhours gave up, except for Marvin. Having tried every way possible, the owners of the factory failed to acquire his land. However all the surrounding land was now owned by the factory, which resulted in Marvin's shop getting cut off from the rest of the world.
Marvin tried everything in his powers to restore justice. Obsiously, the city council and other politicians of the state were on the factory owners' evil capitalist side (it actually says that .
It's not suprising that Marvin lost the case to the owners, in court. After that Marvin was also given a $2500 fine for not having a connected sewer line. When paying the fine, Marvin attached a note to the check/ticket that read "Cowards".
He was one of those who would not give up.
On the 4th of June, 2004 during a rainy day Marvin rolled out into town on a bulldozer reinforced with metal sheets. He started with the concrete factory, destroying building after building, then it was the city council's turn followed by the town hall, then the bank, the public library, the fire station, a warehouse, the local paper and other buildings belonging to the mayor.
Having tried to stop Himeer, the police finally understood that Marvin's bulldozer was unstoppable. More than 200 bullets were fired at the vehicle, causing no harm at all. The police force then decided to battle the titan with hand grenades. Once again their efforts were useless. Later a vehicle rigged with explosives was put in Marvin's path to destruction, it also had little luck in stopping him.
Marvin returned fire using two semi-automatic .23 caliber rifles and a single .50 caliber semi-automatic rifle through specially designed holes in the vehicle's front, left and right sides.
All the police was able to do, was evacuate 1500 inhabitants (the town's population was 2200) and block all the roads, including a federal highway that lead to the town.
Marvins war ended at 16:23 PM.
Having just finished destroying the Gambles Mall, the bulldozer suddenly stopped. The only thing that could be heard comming form Marvins death machine was smoke out of a damaged radiator.
At first the police officers were too afraid to approach the thing. Trying to get Marvin out of his fortress, they had to make a hole in the armor. When they finally got through, Marvin was already dead. He wasn't going to get into the enemy's hands alive.
The governor said that the city looked as if a tornado had just gone through.
Later an investigation was carried out. It was discovered that Marvins creation was so strong that even a powerful artillery blow would only cause minor damage. The bulldozer was totally covered in sheet metal, with each piece being half an inch thick conneted together with concrete.
To fit the bulldozer with this shell, Marvin had to use a self-made crane. "Lowering the protective armor onto the vehicle, Marvin knew he wouldn't be able to get out"
- said police officials.
Although Marvin packed the interior with supplies such as water, food, ammo and a gasmask. To control the killdozer, Marvin used 3 monitors and a couple of video cameras. In an event of the cameras being blinded by dust, they were fitted with air compressors.
It took Marvin 2 months to create the Killdozer, and according to other sources, 1.5 years.
"He was a fine lad", - said the people that were close to Marvin. "They shouldn't have made him angry". "If he was your friend, he was your best friend. And if he was your enemy, well he was your worst and most dangerous enemy." - said Marvins friends.
In eternal memory."

Is it that they usually have a hierarchy ?
Is it that we think they think about humans the same way as with money... in numbers ?
Is it that most think their boss stinks or that the ones in charge cleary must just be powerhungry monsters ?

I need to pick out a song to dance with my mother to. I'm kinda sucking so far. The lady is dancing with her father to "Daughters" by Ben Harper. I have no freaking clue what I should pick. My mother is older, grew up in the 40s and 50s, so classic could be quite good. Any help here?
