whats with this running games in a window thing? is that a feature of vista or are the reviewers just trying to show it can be done via game options?

IIRC you can run unsigned drivers at least on the 32bit version, so installing them isn't the problem, but obviously Vista decided not to allow them to run for one reason or another (incompatibilities with the new driver model could be a reason) - and if Starforce really wanted to, they could have signed or released Vista beta drivers a long time ago, it's not like the Vista beta program just started yesterday

nothing really surprising here - thanks to the memory hunger of Vista you shouldn't even try running current resource hogs like FEAR with less than 2 gigs as expected, and Starforce of course causes troubles with its stupid driver

then again I doubt it's fair to draw any conclusions before the system's actually gonna be out, like with XP the drivers need to mature first and Microsoft needs time for a convincing compatibility mode
