Bf2 is completely awesome.

But! I never purchased the extortion pack euro trash and probably won't get this new one either.

Bf2 is awesome enough as it is.

Bought. While I enjoy more serious stuff as well, I get a huge amount of fun out of lone wolfing in BF2.

Video looks great, game looks fun, but...all I can think of when watching it is

I really would like to know how the developers are going to explain the invasion of the US by the MEC and China.

The only way they could do it is through russia and then alaska.

Is there a way to tell how many people are playing which expansions for BF2? Right now I only play the original game.

I liked in bf1942 how most of the areas you fought over felt more like bases. this planes on a freeway stuff is too much. :/

As an alternative to the expack, I invite all BF2 players to check out PRMM aka Project Reality Mini Mod and/or the US Intervention mod. Both offer new gameplay and new maps.

PRMM is an attempt at "reality" (duh). It features longer spawn and cap times to force teamwork. Weird features include no method to identify your oppenent, even after you kill him. There is no running obituary by design so you can't use it identify/confirm kills. The game is slowed down in that successful players will make a much more careful approach to their objective. Conquest is out and you now need to cap flags in order, which concetrates the action. There are other game types such as escort the VIP, but I didn't find this mechanic very interesting. Not really any new artwork or sound.

USI is a Desert Combat rip off. The speed and lethality of the game is greatly increaced. Plenty of new vehicles include Warthog, Bradley, Frogfoot, and Apache. Lots of new sounds and artwork.

lol more jet rape for me. i have wanted the a-10 since this game started and now i can finally play with it. btw the other day i went 127-0 with the f-35b on wake. i got kicked the next round cause they thought i was cheating.

Is it me or do these armoured fury shots look just like that map in the USI mod where theres a motorway crossroads in the centre of the map and a great map it is too.

USI got there first, I'm not buying this as I bought Euro Forces which I found disappointing seeing theres so much better mods out with much more content and for FREE.
EAs not having any more of my money until they truly deserve it.

That freeway map is a cool setting, but it looks really open and barren.

man i need to play more BF2, im just so lazy. the load screens, finding a good server ect takes so much longer then just clicking on a CS:S favorite.
