First Post!

So we've started watching Firefly on DVD here, and I'm going to have to agree with everyone who said this is a fantastic show that never should've been cancelled. I never really gave it a shot when it was on Dutch TV, but obviously I was stupid and wrong.

I heard some shackers say that game was for faggots so now I must assume certain things about you my good sir.

Are you sure? I think it's quite lacking in this regard.

Te netcode is terrible (it's frame-synced, so you get a lot of delays, sometimes unplayable), the lobby function is ill thought out (you have to leave the lobby to enter the queue of players wanting to play) and the matchmaking system ignores the Live TrueSkill standard and does its own thing which doesn't work well and pairs newbies against experts until one of them decides to finally leave manually.

I played countless matches with a friend and the netcode is absolutely unbelievably good. Zero lag.

          Really?

I thought the online mode (well the lobby system at least) was the best part - I played DOA3:U and that had the best online functions - GGXXR was ass and SFAC was nothing special.

Also, that's what Sega's been talking about with VF5 all this time. I told you assholes.

It's pretty good aye, I have a few issues with the online play being as laggy as it can be occasionally, and the weird matchmaking system (Grade levels can go to hell). I do believe that fight night 3 is a superior online fighting game on a lot of differnt levels though.

GRAW sucks. :P Then again, I just really don't like those type of "stop and pop" shooters. That's why I'm worried about not liking Gears of War.

Yeah. The boss wasn't as bad as DOA3s, I sat there and beat it with every character in one sitting. Only took like... 6 hours ;p

I love me some DOA4. I really believe it was a nice update from 2 and 3, which I honestly didn't believe it would be.

Game needs fireballs or weapons. It just gets old kicking and flipping over and over again.

Nope. Only Tekken 6 and Tekken DR on PSP was shown for Namco fighters.

Online play is the last place for the Soul series to go... don't mess it up Namco. >:(

The only hope for online fireballs is SF2 on Xbox Live Arcade. And oh yeah, Mortal Kombat 3 is coming too.
