AMD & Overclocking
by Steve Gibson, Jan 27, 2000 7:05pm PSTA little while back AMD sent out some letters to retailers scolding them for selling AMD Athlon processors that were advertised as overclocked. TheRegister got a bit of clarification on why AMD was doing this and what the concern was. What's this mean? Well dont worry, AMD isnt stopping retailers like Kryotech, they just voiced a bit of 'concern' on the issue and want to make it clear that this stuff voids warranty.

going from 128ram to 256,I just upgraded to 224 mb this evening
and it really seems to have improved my game,mabey its in my mind,I dunno
but last night\'s performance sucked for me,today I was surprising myself winning games I thought
were lost,anyone else notice a difference with 200+ ram?
