Following the bizarre announcement of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii), Nintendo sent over a lot more screens and character model shots from the game, including two comparison shots between Melee (GCN) and Brawl. We've also got the official trailer on FileShack.

I wonder if a coincidence the zero Suit Samus weilds a light saber in the shape of a Wii remote in this trailer. Could that be a secret feature of Metroid 3? The demo at E3 doesn't really show off any of the special abilities or visors. maybe they gave Samus an energey sword?

This makes me want a new Kid Inacrodiana(what I thought the game was called when I was 8.) game. Why haven't they done another Icarus game? I hope they have it on the virtual console. So Fun.

I love the slightly updated look of Mario in this. The revised look reminds me a lot more of the old illustrations of Mario jumping and climbing and flying that accompanied the descriptions of moves and items in the old Mario 3 and SMW manuals than the Gamecube and N64 era Mario models did (he always looked slightly too goofy to me).
