Turbine Signs Keith Baker For D&D Online Stories

Turbine sent out this press release, announcing that Keith Baker, creator of the Dungeons & Dragons Eberron campaign setting, will work on additional storylines for the MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online. Eberron is the setting for the third edition of Dungeons & Dragons, as well as the game.

I'm surprised he accepted, after all it is not DnD.

They've changed so many core rules that even in beta they had to change MORE core rules because the core rules they changed caused game imbalances.

And to think I had been waiting for DnD to come online since online gaming started. Thanks for nothing.

I tried the 7 Day Trial....

This game is terrible...
It's Guild Wars (being all instanced) with no PvP, but with a monthly fee....

I refuse to pay a monthly fee for instanced content.

Actually, Eberron is a setting in 3rd Edition D&D - there are others, such as the Forgotten Realms.
