repost: Some cool Oblivion screenshots:

I installed the mod in the rar file in that same directory there, and it adds the dark glass to the vendors in the city, it doesn't replace all of the glass armor in the game. I think maybe the stats are different from regular glass, but more or less the same except for the look. I put +20% shield enchants on it so that I could master Light Armor, which is almost done.

fuck, I hate windows.

I either have virus or spyware on my comp, I tried to run hijackthis but it quits without warning. Then I tried to go to the housecall website but it kept giving me a "not found" error, went to my hosts file, and all the anti-virus/spyware stuff was set to 127.0.0.1.

I can't even remember doing anything shady on this machine, it's my work laptop. Luckily I use Linux on my work desktop and home desktop.

Spent about 6 hours trying to get my just finished site looking the same in both IE and FireFox. This is the best I could do... need sleep.

- can't get a grey border down the sides of the white area (to the left and right of the columns)
- can't get a hand to show when rolling over the pictured links in the RH column.
- the menu is seriously fucked for some reason, and I've tried everything under the sun with my limited scope/knowledge.

I don't think I saw that commercial in 1984.

In fact, I probably only saw that commercial for the first time withen the last five years, so I guess you could say I "remember" that commercial.

I think the first experience I had with the MacIntosh was at a computer store in a mall, where I sat down and started playing this "maze" game where you move the mouse, it would map out the path within the maze.

Made me wonder how the mouse worked.. it wasn't until later that I saw that there was a ball inside of the mouse that was used to track how much you moved the mouse.

Anyway, that was my first experience with a MacIntosh.. nothing really exciting, really.

My xbox 360 keeps crashing with a dirty disc error during Oblivion (its happened about 10 times now over the course of 35 hours that i have played). On top of that it has locked up a few times playing various demos, once when playing Black and once during a crash in Burnout. Also it doesn't read about half of my music collection (system of a down's latest album won't even spin) with some making a horrible grinding sound but playing and some skipping and jumping.

I want to get it replaced but I don't want to lose my save games so what are the chances of me being able to hold on to my HDD if I send it back to MS or take it back to where I bought it. Are there any pros/cons either way?

I'm a bit pissed off that it isn't flawless as I waited for a second shipment to avoid any first batch bugs.

I must admit, possibly a bit ashamed, thjat when playing Civilization III, as Germany, I get a certain sense of pride and satisfaction making war with the Russians and the French and marching over them relatively efficiently.

But, you know what they say. Why are the streets in France lined with trees? Because German soldiers like the march in the shade.

On another game note, this time more tactical than strategic, I liked it better when the original C&C universe and the Red Alert universes were one and the same, based on a fictional alternative outcome to the Second World War (i.e. it never happened.)

I've been converting my site from cold fusion to asp.net (cause cold fusion fucking sucks and on my webhost cold fusion goes up and down more than a 2 dollar whore).

Anyway, I'm testing the pages now and if I try to go through a lot of pages real fast I get this error:

A few years ago, my group and I put on a skit for a local convention (Marcon!) loosely LOOSELY based on the Penny-Arcade "Cardboard Tube Samurai" character. The results were very well recieved, but strange.

Does ACDSee have some sort of patent on image browsing, caching and prefetching?

Why is it that ACDSee Classic is still faster browsing porn than the countless free image viewers out there?

ACDSee Classic is starting to show its age (no extensive EXIF support, no Unicode support, ...) but it's FAST!

Newer viewers do only one image prefetch at most, and most don't even cache the previously viewed image, so if you're flipping back and forth, there's a tiny half a second delay. :(
