Late Night Consoling

48
I'm currently taking a break from newly released games and trying as hard as I can to play through the years of backlogged titles I have accumulated. In preparation for Twilight Princess, part of that is going to be working through the Zelda games I never beat, so last night I started playing the original The Legend of Zelda (NES). I completed the first two dungeons, then after saving my game I decided to find out what the enigmatically named "Elimination Mode" is. Note to localization translators: don't get cute with your "Delete Save Game" option. Err on the side of clarity. I suggest something like "THIS OPTION WILL DELETE YOUR SAVE GAME, PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE IT IF YOU JUST PLAYED THROUGH TWO DUNGEONS AND DO NOT WANT TO DELETE YOUR SAVE GAME."
