Battle For Middle Earth 2 Patch Plans

EA's Mike Verdu has updated the producer's blog on the official Battle for Middle-Earth 2 website, offering the latest on the upcoming 1.02 and 1.03 patches for the game. Verdu also mentions that the multiplayer server outages plaguing the game upon release look to be resolved.

        He's not the only one. I detest EA for having multi-million dollar budgets on games like this, the full license, an obviously talented artistic team, and then they fucking fall flat on their faces when it comes to the most important parts of the game for long term enjoyment. Farm it out to Gamespy, woooo!

        If I didn't love Lotr so much, it probably wouldn't bug me, but I do, and it does :P

          That is not really their fault that gamespy sucks.

          Sure they don't have to use them...but who else are they going to use?

            I don't know if this was the Westwood crowd or not. But westwood's net code always sucked. Could never play any of their games with a router until the first or second patch was out.

          Honestly, most games that use GameSpy and have high traffic, always pay the price. GameSpy as an online service for RTS games sucks donkey balls.
