Supreme Commander Preview

They need to work on LOD, and the textures especially. Graphics are the definition of underwhelming. Typical GPG, I guess (completely substandard gfx)

Hopefully someone is reading this at GPG and can pass it on. One thing I am noticing is that although it is more "3D" than TA was..it seems to lack the same artistic feel with the tiles and trees. The units look great, but The trees and tiles seem rather bland and have that generic photoshop/bryce3d look. There's no artistic touch to the way things are organized or look. Obviously I havent played the game nor seen the maps in person so my observations have to be taken at face value. But this IS what I am noticing in these screenshots, specifically this one:

Obviously this was one of their earliest screenshots but it does display what I am talking about in general.

Of course this game has a lot of revision to go through before its released (as its a year away from completion most likely) hopefully the depth and artistic detail in the land can be improved. I'm sure CT at the helm knows what hes doing, so ill just STFU.

they need to improve the units look, put some some artistic look to them like someone suggested...i mean the models are somehow right...not alot of imagination put into it...but the textures are so dead...no life..

God I can't wait for this game
