Q3 cheats 1 and timedemo

Here's some stuff that you guys might want to muck around with now that the new Q3Test is out- to enable cheats (thanks gibbles:)

Start a map in the console using: devmap q3test1 devmap q3test2 devmap q3tourney To get all weapons and the grappling hook simply hit F4. For god mode, hit F10.

And to get some "true" benchmark numbers, here's the timedemo feature (thanks Moto-Chow)

Pull down the console
Type timedemo 1
Type demo q3testdemo1.dm3 or demo q3testdemo2.dm3

people, the grapple is only availible through cheats and doesn\'t even have an icon and stuff. it isn\'t meant to be working since this is a test

you must be some sorta moron. Of course the grapple works. Thing is, I guess it\'s not an offhand grapple like we like. You gotta select it with your weapon cycle keys [ ] . Plus it\'s on a number key, too, I think. But anyways, what I thought was even cooloer, was that the grenade launcher and BFG are in there!!! no graphics of course, just placeholder stuff, but they\'re still there, and they still do damage.

wow that\'s trippy...seems to pull you back to the grapple point when not firing the shaft though

Interesting thing I found with the grapple and Shaft.
attach yourself to a wall with the grappel then switch to the shaft
when you fire the shaft it will pull you in the direction of where you are aiming but not pull you back to the grapples attach point
... this is a simple way to fly
