Battle For Middle Earth 2 Release Issues, Patch Plans
by Maarten Goldstein, Mar 10, 2006 6:30am PSTThere's a new producer's blog on the official Battle for Middle-Earth 2 website, talking about multiplayer issues ("we've had some server outages since launch that have kept people from playing multiplayer as much as they wanted to over the last 4-5 days (we had one outage yesterday that lasted for a number of hours)."), and plans for patches. One patch will be out shortly to fix the out of sync issue, while another patch will be released in several weeks to provide balancing changes and other game improvements.

1) Sell crap.
2) Promise a patch everyday. With vague fix names.
3) Deliver a patch every 3 or 4 months.
4) Profit??
I havent played through the campaign yet, but I have been playing some skirmishes and HOLY SHIT is this game tough. I'm playing on medium and lastnight (6th time playing) I *almost* beat the comp....but still...the game lasted over an hour and a 1/2. It was as strong battle. I had the Witch King, Balrog, the fire worm thingy, Mouth of Sauron, AND a Nazgul...and I still couldnt beat the comp.
Goddamn.....
