I don’t mind war sims so much in the single player realm (operation flashpoint) but multiplayer can get a little frustrating, I respect the RO team for sticking to their uncompromising views on creating a game they want to play first and foremost, unfortunately I’ve been poised by BF2 in so far as player movement and things like having a slight zoom in pseudo IS view, I realize the two games shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same paragraph but there it is, some sort of hybrid between the two would be my dream come true but at the end of the day I just don’t have the patients for extreme realism. To me the RO mod really shined in the infantry, urban type settings, the vehicles ended up being something that sounded better on paper so to speak than in practice, something about the physics that didn’t work for me.

In every realistic/tactical FPS I have ever played, the bullets appear in thin air around you and go forward. For example of what i mean, go full auto with the AK-47 in CS with the gun facing someone standing right in front of you.
In Real Life you would rip them apart as every bullet came out of the barrel, in game bullets will go over their head, around their body, they don't actually come out of the barrel at all.
If this is fixed then I will believe the claims of ultra-realism.
