Everything I've heard has pointed towards this being one of the most hardcore MMOs yet. And I don't mean that in a good way.

I hate being punished in a game. And I think a lot of people feel that same way. WoW has almost no penalty for death and, last I checked, it had a very healthy population.

The game sounds more and more interesting, but I'm concerned about how "hardcore" they will end up making the game. I'm about to get back into WoW, and a game that is just punishment to play doesn't appeal.
