Eidos has released twenty new Hitman: Blood Money screenshots, showing Agent 47 taking care of business at various locations, while dressed in various outfits. IO Interactive's assassin game sequel is due out in May.

Never really got into the Hitman series, although I bought and played all three episodes.

However, this one here looks *very* promising. I had the chance to play the Vegas level during GC 05 in Germany last year, and it already looked very polished. They have an interesting "picture-in-picture" feature now (just like in Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy) that presents scripted events, especially in situations with time limits: In the demo, Hitman was trying to escape a casino, while a simultaneous ingame sequence displayed some security guys running through hallways towards his location from various camera angles and a timer was ticking down. That part was pretty exciting!

Ah, and the graphics were also well done. Nice normal maps etc.

This game is looking good, to be sure. I always wondered why Hitman has never had any direct competition in its stealth/action genre. I suppose it is more of a niche market, but it's a shame we aren't seeing the variety of stealth games that we see with say MMOs or FPSs. It would be nice to look forward to something besides the next Hitman or MGS game.
