seeing this, and knowing that some mods are even looking better, i'd be afraid to sell this game, not buy it :/

I mean, compare these with the FSW screens (of cource it's a totally different engine, but still..)

It's actually pretty enjoyable if you like FSW. They added a few things that I think are good additions, primarily the ability to break into buddy teams and the suppression/precision fire options. I imagine the ability to get inside buildings for better tactical options will also be nice in larger fights.

It's not a graphical powerhouse or anything, but I don't think it looks any worse than the original FSW. Bloom had a strange graphical artifact on my system, so I disabled that.

The demo doesn't show me whether or not it addresses the "puzzle with guns" feel that the first one had, however. Infantry were all pre-arranged on the field to create little disconnected tactical challenges. I'd prefer a more fluid field that requires you to be ready for anything. It's unclear whether Ten Hammers will fix that or not.

gameplay seemed fine - move to corner, flank, shoot, split into groups, it was all pretty standard FSW stuff. Unfortunately, graphics were pretty subpar. The models and textures are really outdated.

alright i enjoyed the first one but this one is clunky as all fuck it seems like. hard to control, awkward swining camera that does whatever it can to fuck you over and terrible graphics. Maybe im thinking of first to fight that i enjoyed but this game is just not good for the pc.
