Wow.. so I squeezed in an extra hour of TrackMania Nations before bed last night on some server in Germany and racked up hundreds of points at a time pushing me in to the top 50 in the US rankings outa nowhere. Woo! I can only assume several top ranked racers went out and got drunk and decided it would be fun to raise my spirits a bit before they crush me the next time I play. I've had so little time lately the game has been great. I guess you'd know that though since I've talked about it so much!

- Faster chips kill kill kill
- The future of the net
- Eating is hot

Lastly, board game makers wanna make a comeback. If that's your thing BoardGameGeek is the best website ever. Do it.

Finally saw vanilla sky. Wasn't bad, for a cruise movie.

  It's more of a Cameron Crowe movie than a Cruise movie, but yeah I really enjoyed it.

    All of Cameron Crowe's films have awesome soundtracks. I'm watching Elizabethtown now and so far the best part is the music.

        It's actually completely faithful. The spanish movie has the same ending. The details are a little different of course, but the basic plot points are the same.
        
        That being said, I enjoyed the spanish version more, perhaps because I was expecting the ending and did not feel like they were just pulling it out of no where since I had seen the american version.

    I agree. The movie felt like pretentious artsy shit, but it looked pretty good and the story was fairly interesting at least (overall I didn't like it though). The ending was like science fiction out of fucking nowhere though. It just didn't fit in with the rest of the movie.
