Mark Rein is turning into the next whipping boy for the gaming industry, I always get a kick out of what he says and who he inadvertantly attacks whenever he opens his mouth. Personally I'd rather see more of Tim Sweeney interviews than ones with Mark Rein.

Yup, pretty much. I never worked out what he did at Epic either, VP? So he doesn't even make the games yet that gives him permission to mouth stuff of?

Who did he attack in this interview? I read most of his answers, but didn't see anything derogatory or anything...

No one in this interview, but I was speaking overall that during the last year he has said a great many things that will haunt him to his grave. From the HUGE amounts of money that Epic loses to supporting resold games (absurd), to the "gimmicky, crappy, cheap, I-wish-I-hadn't-bought-it gimmick games" remark about the Revolution controller. I dare to say that the industry does not need someone so harshly critical of others within the same industry. I am sure you all you, we need to be a team to make sure gaming grows any and everyway possible.

Well, I'm not a fan, but he says less pure RETARDED shit than Randy Pitchford, and he seems to get away with it.....

Pitchford uttered some really legendary idiotic remarks in those Halo PC interviews...

... and then there's the whole old Rebel Boat Rocker/PraxWar fake screenshot business of course.
