I just got this from my friend who works at the local theater...

11:29:50 PM: I was working today, and Rent is in town. during intermission, someone comes up to me and says, "This guy in the second row - about seat 20 - is filming the entire show." I'm like wow holy shit what a cock. so I get my 'assistant house manager' and say, "Do you think we should bust him now? We have a seat and the patron said he was wearing a jean jacket." "If we say anything now, he can just deny it and we can't do anything. We need to wait until he uses it." I say, "What if we get the patron to pinpoint him for sure and we move before intermission ends?" "Yeah that'll work." so I find this guy who tipped me off, I walk back with him to his seat, and he points the guy out to me. I go back out, move into the fucker's row, and say, "We know you're filming the show. I'm going to have to confiscate your camera." he's all. "Uhh...OK here it is." and pulls it out of his jacket.

11:31:50 PM: so I take the camera back outside and the show is starting. my 'boss,' Brian says, "Let's see if we can find what he was filming so he can't deny it later." so he turns it on, and when he presses the menu button, the first thing that comes up is home made ameteur gay porn. no joke. the first picture we see is the guy who owns the camera sucking the dick of the dude who was with him seeing Rent. me and another person see this and we simultaneously go "Holy shit." we keep going and there are at least a dozen shots of them doing it, sucking cock, kissing, and having butt sex

Like electronic and indie music? Can't find that one special album you've asked about three thousand times in the local record store? Chances are it's available at

www.bleep.com

Every song is in mp3 format, encoded at a minimum of 192kpbs with LAME. I bought the new Prefuse 73 album there just now for $10, it's encoded at 320kps. I noticed that they've started offering albums in the lossless FLAC format (for a few $ extra, the files are huge). When you buy an album, you can either download each song individually or a whole album as a zipped archive. You can only download an archive or each song once, it's removed from your Downloads section upon successful download (so that if a download fails, you're still fine).

This is really the best way to buy albums, IMO. I don't need a CD and an album cover (I just rip them immediately anyway) and the quality of the songs is great. It's pretty cheap too (especially for me and my countrymen, since albums are usually $40 out of a store).

So stop whining that iTunes has a monopoly! This is the perfect online music store format, even though their selection isn't as expansive.

ATTN: SHACK TECH-JOB HAVING MENZ

I recently graduated with my BS in Computer Science, and I'm in the middle of job hunting. Nothing too great yet, but I've noticed on a couple interviews, some employers would like candidates to take an "aptitude test." Which I take to mean, basically an I.Q. test of some kind. Nothing really computer related on the tests... basically, it's stuff like "If Tom his taller than Joe, and Joe is shorter than Tammy, which of the following is true?:"

Anyway... Is this NORMAL for the tech industry? Not to sound too pretentious... but I'm kind of, I dunno, insulted by this sort of thing. Does meeting me in person, and discussing the JOB just not cut it anymore? Suddenly, I have to have my "intelligence" questioned and scrutinized?

Looks like they are going with the long haloween storyline for Batman Begins 2

Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal is being touted as Gotham City district attorney Harvey Dent in the next Batman sequel, along with Paul Bettany, who may play the Joker. Gyllenhaal would play Gotham City's good-guy lawyer, who mutates into his alter-ego, Two-Face, in the third film. In the sequel, Batman would team with Harvey Dent to destroy the Joker, according to moviehole.net. Tommy Lee Jones formerly played Dent/Two-Face on the big screen in Batman & Robin. Star Christian Bale is set to return, as well as Michael Caine as butler Alfred.

Late night banking question for you all...
Anyone here have Bank Of America and direct deposit? How long after midnight does your pay usually take to show up? I was supposed to get paid last night...still not showing up...if it doesn't show up by lunchtime I'm thinking of not coming back after lunch, after asking about my paycheck sometime in the morning, that is...is BOA generally slow with their transactions? Neat. I smoked a menthol cigarette over 2 hours ago and just moments ago sneezed with such a force that a loogie was dislodged from my throat. Upon exiting my oral cavity it fragmented and a piece was draped from lip to just below the line where my lower lip becomes chin flesh. After wiping it off and licking wet lips minutes later the area tasted like a stick of double mint gum. mmmmmm.

Good god kids grow up fast now - that little girl can't be more than 17.... it's frightening.

I mean the tits are nice and the body is good (I prefer shape but I know that one is right up most of your alleys) - the choice of clothing isn't bad and what's fucked up is the atttitude the whole flashing stripping, ripping at the g-string thing.

I'm convinced the internet, television (mtv specifically) and music is well it's good in some ways but god it's bad for society in other ways. - I see girls waving their shit around at like 14 nowadays at malls and stuff - and over 1/3 of them actually have some decent stuff to wave round - must be the hormones in the chicken.

Alright I'm rambling like cliff yablonski now but jeez wtf...

Holy shit trail mix is good. Nuts? Raisins? 3.99 a POUND? I totally forgot how much bulk foods like this own but I'm totally Snack Attacking this Mother Fucker and it's tasty as can be. I've never been a big breakfast eater, but I don't think I'll mind chomping down a small cup full of this shit on the way to work.

Might pick up a wet weather jacket for riding from the bike store.
I will stick with this riding to work thing damnit - fuck public transport.

There is nothing worse than being a part of the ADD generation with little to no patience and missing a tram or train by 1 minute and having to wait 10 to 15 minutes.

That 10 to 15 minutes feels like 10 to 15 years.
Then there's the Commonwealth games in Melbourne in about 3 weeks, lasting for 2 or 3 weeks (iirc?) that's going to make public transport a nightmare let alone my theory that if any explosives are to go off on PT in Melbourne then would be the time to do it]s

Gotta say though, riding in the wet blows goats.

So what does one do when they are having random pains inside the body and no insurance to go get checked out (die :()? Do hospitals (usa here) offer payment plans if you tell them your financial issues? Is there some other alternative way to get some sort of free medical care?

Anyone ever experienced the cost of a serious medical issue without having insurance?
