The weekly Valve news update is now available, commenting on the release of Militia for Counter-Strike: Source and mentioning two more player models (one for each side) are being added to the game. The update also includes a new shot from the map Kalt, which will be added to Day of Defeat: Source next week.

Hilarious.

People were bitching about how this is just a CT slaughter map, I go to other sites and they say the Ts can't even defend themselves.

Must mean its a pretty balanced map

Militia runs fine on my rig, but it feels unbalanced. The T's no longer have the upper hand in defence and quickly get raped from behind via the tunnel, as its too hard to hold the second entrance by the gate because the CT's have a perfect line of sight of the approach.

Did anyone else notice the mention of militia being a resounding success?? Everyone I've come across doesn't like the new version of the map for varying reasons.

I just found there to be a disconnect...
