Despite this I very much enjoyed the movie, a good adventure flick that went by like a 2 hour one instead of the 3 hours that it is. It didn't feel like any "masterpiece" though, just a good to great movie. I guess in a way, I didn't come out of the theater understanding what made this property so special to Peter Jackson. Some dumbass indoor cat ran away from its house and decided to try to live on my deck in the freezing weather. The SPCA wouldn't come pick it up, and neglected to tell me they closed at 3pm today so now it's stuck in my laundry room until Monday. I don't have cat food for it, just some wet dog food. I also have nothing for it to piss and shit in. I have no idea if it's sick or has fleas or mange or anything. Also, I'm grumpy because I'm allergic to the fucking things and my dog is hyper about getting to see what that new smell in the laundry room is and I don't want him to kill the cat or get bitten or clawed.
Advice needed. Help me shack-wan, you're my only hope.

Everything was working fine till i restarted my machine, not the server. I updated some files and went to commit them to the repo and i'm getting this error,
I tried adding each of the folders such as js and milonic but it says they are already there or no changes where made. Any ideas?

The problem is I don't have my tape measure here and I can't grasp the size. Has anyone seen it or have one that can tell me if it's wide enough for 2 crt monitors + keyboard. The only reference was on another picture with a laptop that made it look small.

I did find a DFI LanParty NF2 Ultra A board with an Athlon XP 2400+ though. Last I used it, it worked fine, but it might be dead by now. Anyone want it? I'm getting rid of all non-essential computer stuff. Also, I have an unused NeoGeo Pocket Color with no games, if anyone wants it. Just pay shipping/packaging; I'll have to buy boxes at the post office if I want to ship stuff since I also threw out all of my boxes (that was dumb).

If I play a video back in Firefox or IE, it's incredibly choppy. I'm not talking HD quality here. I'm talking "Small" sized.
But if I download the same video, or one bigger, and play it back in Quicktime, it'll play fine.

On Friday night I slept in my contacts for 5 hours. I've slept in them before with no real side effects so I wasnt too worried. I woke up, took them out and then almost immediately both eyes started to burn. The burning lasted for about 6 hours. They burnt when they were closed or open. Also I noticed a strong sensitivity to light.. I looked in the mirror and bodda bing my eyes were dilated.
Now over 24 hours have gone by. The burning has pretty much stopped, but my eyes are still dilated with a minor sensitivity to light (before I couldnt even look at my computer screen, now I can without too much pain).
Any idea what happened? I washed my hands before taking out my contacts so I figured it wasnt something on my hands.
Any one else experience this before? Should I run to the doctors office? Should I just wait to see if my dilated eyes go away? ANyone know of a remedy for dilated eyes?

So I'm sort of just :O'ing for a minute while my girlfriend is hopping off the boat like a ninja. She asked the agent sitting back and away from Bush if it was all right to talk to him and he said "Sure, yeah, he loves to meet people. Just walk up slow and don't startle the agents."
So anyway, he talked our ear off. He also really liked the boat we were checking out, asked us what we did for a living, asked us what we fished for and where we went on cruises to, etc, etc, etc. I joked with him that I wasn't old enough to vote for him but I voted for his son twice. I guess he's old enough that he just likes talking to people or something.
I also expected the secret service guy to at least stun me with a quick blow to the kidney or something, just for show, but he was actually nice and was pretty normal.
I'm actually radiating an evil conservative glow right now.

Did anyone actually see this movie? A friend of mine just explained the plot to me and I'm wondering if it's really like that.
Basically a womans wakes up one moring to find her son missing. Everyone she asks tells her she never had a son. She fights on to find her son's kidnappers and discovers . . . he was abducted by aliens. But wait. The good part is that the aliens only abducted him to teach his mother the lesson of love . . . or some shit.

Streaming map loading. No more of the "map loading" messages. I want FPS' that stream map content as you play, no more loadscreens!
Unlimited use of physics. (that Ageia Physix stuff will become hot I tell you) I want to see tidalwaves, forests shattering, I want it to rain frogs, in glorious full physics!
No more "game difficulty" stuff! I like the idea Sin: Episodes is coming up with for game difficulty, thats the sorta shit I wanna see!
Mulitplayer games that really have an impact on gameplay based on who won the last round! Damnit, I wanna see BF2's Kubra Damn map fill up with water depending on who wins the round, and fight it out on a lake! Or a busted damn with shit tossed everywhere, depending on who won the round, and make it a streaming loading map while at it.

So for a fitness class they asked that I purchase a HRM (must have chest strap) before the first class. At the gym they off the Polar F6 and RS200.
Looking around I also found the Polar F11. Basically I am looking for ease to upload data and no more then $150. Also it seems there are no good side by side compare sites out there for HRMs :(

I bought a car last January for ~$11,000.
I put $7,000 in, and my dad spotted me the rest.
Since then I have paid $2200 back to my dad. So I owe him $1800.
Lately he's been a stress case because of his business, and seems to like to create drama between me, my older sister, and my mom (who is divorced from my dad).
I sent my car payment check to him this week, and he hasn't gotten it yet, so he's freaking out saying he's going to come take the car from me.
He owns approximately $1800 of this car. I have the only keys. But his name is also on the registration.
Can he legally do anything? Paying off the remaining $1800 at this point isnt possible.
