Dell has updated their site to announce the availability of the highly anticipated 3007WFP LCD screen. A GeForce 7800 GTX or QUADRO FX 4500 is recommended for powering the 30" display, which will set you back $2200.

This monitor looks pretty sweet, but dual link DVI is unfortunately going to keep it firmly in the niche category. Having to run 2 cables to it from a special video card is not mainstream at all - more for professionals and integrated workstations. If they can solve that problem (new digital monitor interface), this would be a better investment. I'll stick with my 2405 for a while. :)

I must say after using CRT's all day at work, I do notice the delay on my 20" Dell LCD when I go home. The delay is slightly longer on the 24 as well, but I still hunger for it.
