I need something clothing recommendations. I have a company party tonight, and I'd like to wear something nice that shows off the fact that I've been exercising frequently. The restaurant is a small French place, usually frequented by annoyingly wealthy people.

Hopefully something that hints at my arms and the V-shape of my torso. I put on my suit, but the shoulders look ridiculous since it was fitted when I was a skinny bastard. I live near D.C., so most well-known clothiers are nearby. I'd prefer to go tieless.

Help me multisync, you're my only hope.

I love it that Movies are tanking at the box office.

King Kong wich is probably the biggest movie to come out sense starwars ep 3 is doing nothing at the box office. People just don't like going to the movies anymore. What do you guys think it is? I mean I havn't gone to the movies in MONTHS. I think people can get better entertainment in their home with On Demand/TIVO/netflix/Internet/VIdeo games that there is no reason to go to the movies anymore. ANd also who has time to sit for 3 hours? I can just find enough time to watch a 30 minute tv show. I also think TV is getting better... look at LOST and 24 these have the production value of a good movie, only take 60 minutes to watch and you don't have to go to the movies, drive 10 minutes pay 25 dollars and get some lousy popcorn and a 56OZ drink for another 20 bucks.

We woke up this morning ready to go and hit the road for ol' KC, but as we went to get our coffee (hot chocolate for the wife) there was a big surprise... 2'' of snow in the last 3 hours with possible 4-6'' today and tomorrow. Those would be the days we would be on the turnpike.

I've driven on the turnpike before in this kind of weather and it sucks when you get your blazer stuck in the ditch and have to wait for a tow truck! Nothing against Mr. Sleepy but black ice SUCKS! So unfortunately there is a wasted hotel reservation in KC today :-( and we won't be able to join in the gay festivities. I expect pics. + divx fuckers! :{

The taskbar is mostly nice and minimalist except for the ugly fat blue start button. The different sizes, flat buttons in the top right of the windows (maximise, close etc.) suck too. Bleh.

Just finished PoP: The Two Thrones this morning, and the final boss battles were just awesome. So happy with how they finished off this trilogy. The second-to-last Boss Battle was about as difficult as they get, and requires you to basically use everything you have learned to defeat it.

Minus the boss battles, it's the easiest of all 3 games imo; probably the buggiest (I think the scope of the gameplay was a bit too much for the developers to complete and it was maybe rushed out a little too soon); but definitely the best gameplay of all 3.

If you loved SoT, then go back and finish WW (no seriously) and then play TTT and you will have a greater appreciation for it.

Buy.com is a great place to buy stuff. But they're really weird with how they process your money. I ordered made two orders yesterday for a total of about $400, and they were both initially subtracted from my bank account, but then they dissapeared, and now I'm being credited like $300 back, however I received emails stating that my stuff has been shipped. The only problem is that it kind of fucks with my balance. Just weird.

I need some software that will pull files off a bad drive. a power outtage rendered the GF's 250GB HDD unuseable, and i have put it in a external USB2 enclosure to try and pull files off it before formatting it or junking it..

So I got my TWC HD DVR last night...wow. I cant believe I've been missing HD all this time...its unreal how much better it looks. Does anyone know why Discovery HD looks so much better than all of the other HD channels though...something they have or do just makes it so good...I watched some gay ass opera last night just because it looked freakin like I was there.

So I went to the wife's Christmas party last night for Newscorp/Fox.

Holy shit I've never seen a party of this magnitude before, and I've been to some amazing parties all over the world. There was like 6 different rooms, each one of them huge. There was at least 6000 people there, open bar in every room, food in every room. They had the Simpsons on huge movies screens playing. One room called the sports area or something had cheerleaders dancing that were pretty much strippers in Newscorp cheerleader outfits. Another room had video games and it was all some console I never heard of called NDS (not nintendo).

Tons of hot women that were all drunk and easily bangable for the lucky guys who were single. I can't imagine any other company being able to top their holiday party.

I ended up having to leave early because I was pounding Vodka like an idiot and I was one drink away from vomitting.

Can someone help me understand this? Did the Beatles blow all of their money on hookers and blow or something? Shouldn't they already be rich out of their fucking minds? You could make an argument for going after their label after an audit (even then $50 million is pretty damn high), but the suing Apple over a trademark infringement clause by entering the music business with iTunes..

Is it for the kids and grandkids? Because I know they must be sitting on a huge nest at this point.

I suck at regular expressions. I've got a text file, a log file from a program compile, and I want to capture every path/file such that they can be "labeled" in our source code control system. Each line kinda looks like this:

Parsing file: '/data/files/blah.v'
```
Some end in .v, some .vr, some .vrh, some .h, and some .vrp. I wish to exclude the ones with vrp. So... I do this to get all unique file path/names

What would I add to the regexp to exclude .vrp (where .vrp are the last 4 characters of $1). If I were doing a command line pipe thing I'd use "grep -v .vrp", but... :( Help?

So,
I think i've pin-pointed what it is i don't like about geometry wars:
It's too random.
The enemies don't spawn in same way from game to game which means getting a good score is somewhat just plain luck. Also they spawn kill me :(
