I don't program, but I need a small simple program written for me. I would even be willing to poorly pay for it, as I am currently poor. How hard would it be to make something like this?
The true use for the application:
I need a program that sits in the system tray. When it sees a specified application (which i will provide the name for) using the processor I want the icon to change, thus an indiciation that xyz application is currently in use. I would make / provide the 2 icons (idle and active) I want to use.
Cover Up:
The program is a simple timer. When you double click on the tray icon it brings up a a small window (always on top) that starts counting up time in seconds (MM:SS). When this window is closed, it of course stops/resets the timer but the program remains in the tray. Anytime its double clicked it will bring up that timer window starting at 00:00.
Anyone interested on helping me? PM me.
What I just typed is the applications true purpose, but along side this I need a cover up. When double clicked (the systray icon) I want it to bring up a timer which automatically starts counting up in seconds

As human ancestors began to make complicated tools, figuring out goals might not have been good enough anymore. Hominids needed a way to register automatically what other hominids did, even if they didn't understand the intentions behind them. They needed to imitate.

Are there any shackers that like to hunt?
Here's my dilemma: I'm trying to come up with gift ideas for my dad. He's an avid hunter--a hobby I know nothing about.
Every year for the past three of four years he's just given me a list of things to order from Cabela's catalog (mostly hunting clothing).
I really would like to come up with a gift idea and actually surprise the man, but knowing nothing about the hobby, I don't know what would be a legitimately good gift, or something just gimmicky. I thought about buying him a gun since he collects them, but again, I've got ZERO frame of reference about what type/brand/etc.
If anyone has any good suggestions, I would appreciate it!!
