I look at that city with all the neon signs and storefronts. It looks great, but I know it'll be a very static world where none of it will blow up. I want those signs to break and fall plz.

Instead there are 6-7k online, half of them bots (nice stat padding epic), with C001 VEHICAL C0MB4T onslaught being the most played mod. There were more people playing UT seven years ago.

I'd be damned if that doesn't look like something you'd see in Duke 4. But you people pick apart the particles? What?
Yawn.

- excellent bot AI (like something we never ever saw)
- Weapon balanced
- Lots lots lots of maps... by lots I meant at the very least 50. I don't care if you recyled old ones that were good.
- At the very least: Deathmatch, teamdeath, Capture the flag
- Lots more than just one vehicule
- Bring back rocketjump
- Extremely good fps when you remove all the fancy graphics. Very smooth.
- Water
- Free online access (normally it is) and easy to find servers.
- Anyone can be a server.
- Very easy and good tools for making mods and maps.
And that's the very minimum.

Bring back gibs!!
I know it won't happen because we now live in a mega-poly normal mapped world. That de-rez stuff they put into UT2003/4 sucked.

Same old UT my ass. 2004 had vehicles and the awesomeness of Onslaught. 2003 didn't have that shit. Give me a fucking break. Maybe you guys hype yourselves up too much for some games or something, I don't know, but it's a very very fucking sad day when majority of comments are negative about a good franchise like UT.
ugh...

The original Unreal1 weapons were as good as it got in the Unreal universe, and Epic should return to them.

That and maybe bring back visible player damage. HL2 is a joke because it was missing that. I can't even tell where I hit the dude. :/

I've always assumed the reason for the super huge weaponry was to make it simple to tell what the other person was carrying. I supposed that's still the case, but to me, that first loses a lot of 'credibility' or 'dignity' or whatever you want to call it because that red thing he's holding looks like engine of a VolksWagon.
Why bother making the people seem realistic if you're going to keep with the 'super-deformed' cartoonish weapons?
