The guys at Seriously! have posted a changelog from a new Serious Sam 2 patch which they say will be released in a week or two. There will be fixes to sound and network code, additional resolution support (like 1280x1024), and dedicated server support.

What is this sudden trend in games to not support 1280x1024? Games used to do that no question in the past, but now that LDCs abound that support that res natively, it's like 1/3 of games that come out don't have that option anymore.

Wow...finally. I've had Sam 2 sitting on my desk since release, unable to play it because of all the sound and dual-core issues. Sounds like this patch will fix them.

- Disabling affinity for 1 cpu fixed that for me, but this patch will hopefully alleviate that annoyance. : intothefray
