Well, time to start putting up those crazy colored lights everywhere! The joy of men over 6 feet everywhere as it is your penance for the sin of being tall.

- I'm stoked about bananas! - The next couch potato - Saturn moon - Science songs :(
Lastly, if you're still looking for things to be thankful for here in the USA here you go. Yay for congress spending time on the important issues of our time.

  • So I finished A Feast for Crows last night and basically NOTHING happens.

The whole book can be trimmed down to about 2 chapters worth of events compared to the other books. Everything else is either filler or random, disjointed excerpts of different minor characters that show up once or twice, and do pointless crap you don't care about. There's like 2 pages of "OMG SURPRISE!" moments, and that's it. I found myself actually wanting to skip through pages because it got so tiresome, unlike that last 3 books. If you like long detailed descriptions of how the trees smell, where someone slept last night or how some random bum on the side of the road looks like, this ones for you!

Every chapter is basically written the same way for the entire book (minor spoilers if there's even anything to spoil):
Arya: shows up for 3 chapters and sells fish.
Sansa: again, doesn't show up much .. after 4 books, she SLOWLY starts to become less of an airhead
Brienne: runs arounds the forest accomplishing nothing..pointless POV
Cersei: "woe is me, jaime is different and doesn't love me anymore omg. I'm afraid of Tyrion and the prophecy" etc, etc. She and Brienne has the most chapters in the book, and they're all exactly the same
Jaime: "For all I know that dumb bitch Cersei is fucking Moonboy"
The entire iron islands plotiline/characters: "who should be king?!"

There was a lot of foreshadowing however.
For the others that have finished the book, here's my predictions for what's going to happen in the following books (POSSIBLE MAJOR SERIES SPOILERS):
