Updated BF2 Tools, Patch Coming

According to the latest community update on the official Battlefield 2 website, a new update for the game is in the works. Though there are no details or projected release date, the news item mentions that EA is "listening to our customer support teams and working hard on the features that YOU'VE asked for". A new Battlefield 2 Mod Editor is on the way too.

  Im fine with the server browser because I have a good list of favorites. However, when the server list disappears on the main screen I dont know WTF is up with that. That is pretty annoying if I'm looking for an internet game and my favs are full or crap maps.

    MAKE SERVER LIST REAPPEAR - I'm pretty this makes the list reappear (only tried once). What you need to do is try to join any server - so go to favorites, pick anything (preferably a full one) and try to join. You don't have to actually join, just press escape as soon as it starts loading. When it dumps you back into the browser area, the list is there again.

    yeah but I don't want to exit or minimize just to join a server. that should not have to be done. I mean, the Steam server browser is pretty much perfect. it's responsive and informative.

  How about the TABing bug. If you tab through the join server menu...it goes back to the background screen! WTF!
