Publisher Aspyr Media today announced that it will bring the Piranha Bytes RPG Gothic 3 to North American stores late next year at a cost of $39.99. I played G2 Gold over the break and it is indeed awesome. So much Ultima-esque, RPG/adventure game goodness. The best part, I'm probably 40+ hours into it and I'm not even finished with the first chapter!

I really really hope Aspyr does a better job than the previous publishers. Gothic series needs gigantisch amount of more love. It has had that in Europe and particularly in German but broad international regocnition and success is what the guys at Piranha Bytes deserve.
