Following the Perfect Dark Zero ad on a Coke can, I finally saw an Xbox 360 ad on TV..sorta. Citroen is a French car maker, and they sell a decent amount of cars here so they regularly have TV ads. One campaign for the past two years or so has some salesman taking pretty much every opportunity to tell people about the extras and cash back options for their cars. In this new one, he stops a group of children to tell them about the latest cashback opportunities when a girl asks "Is that enough for an Xbox 360?". After another ad, there is a sort of followup with the girl calling her dad going through a list of details, ending by saying "you can save up to like ten Xbox's worth". Pretty odd. As for other ads, what is up with the ads for Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. I dislike ads that mostly use cinematics but can kind of understand it as long as they show some in-game footage, but for these two games, both ads use a first person view that makes it seem like the game really looks that way. Seems pretty shady. Movie: He isn't dead, and do you know why? Because I haven't killed him yet.
