You have to be an admin user AND give the app your username and password to install it on a Mac, whereas it just installs without asking on a Windows box.

Also I guess you will have to open the CD as a data disc and double-click on the Install-Extras.pkg icon, since macs don't have autorun (AFAIK, probably wrong).
(another reason why my missus will never be told the admin pass, hehe)
