Half-Life 2: Aftermath Delayed

Half-Life2.net reports that Valve's first expansion episode for Half-Life 2, Aftermath, has suffered a delay (didn't see that one coming). Last we heard it was going to be released this month, but according to Valve's Doug Lombardi we won't be seeing it until next year now.

We're working very hard to finish this new episode for HL2, however, its going to take us a bit more time to get it into top shape. As such, the target release for this one is now Feb/March of next year.

They should sit down for every product, estimate it's release date, and then tell everyone the development time will be 2x longer than they think it will be. If they get done on time, it's an early christmas for gamers! If not... well, they have some leeway.

I expect about 5 hours from it and I'm ok with that. Its going to cost about $20 isnt it off steam? If you liked HL2, then you know the expansion will be awesome.

If Valve wants to delay it to make improvements, I'm cool with that. Why? Because I want the best they can offer. I personally loved HL2 and have beaten in 4 times now. A little excessive, but I seriously marvel at it evertime I play. I love the GFX, voiceacting, SFX....and the variety.......unlike Doom 3....omglolz
