I think that until Gothic 3 issue (maybe King Kong) you won't see anything worthy to oust 50 dolla for a REAL adventure with some decent and funny melee combat.

1. Don't delay this release a billion times (a la Stalker) such that it's graphical appeal is *yawn* boring when it comes out, and
2. Don't script the fcuk out of the experience making it the antithesis of Morrowind.

Proj:O looks a lot better to me, and it seems to be more of a smooth action game. However, M&M is an established RPG franchise and might have more depth to it.

I'm worried that ES:IV will be kind of directionless like Morrowind was (at least for me) but from reading the interviews it soulds like they've incorporated a lot of feedback from Morrowind into Oblivion.
Both games look really good though and I'll most likely be getting both.

if this game can capture even 1/4 of the fun of, say, Might & Magic 6 or 7, I'm all over it...those were, for me probably some of the best games ever...so epic...this probably will be a very different bird...
