I give this one an 8/10. It gets pretty dicey in the later chapters, but anyone with a basic understanding of physics should be able to follow it well enough.

U.S. judge puts Michigan's video game law on hold
LOS ANGELES, Nov 9 (Reuters) - A federal judge on Wednesday granted video game industry groups' request for a preliminary injunction preventing the state of Michigan from enforcing a new law aimed at banning sales of violent video games to minors.
The ruling from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan comes amid a fierce campaign by lawmakers and some parents' groups to limit access to games with adult content. California and Illinois have passed similar laws and a Florida lawmaker is trying to get like legislation passed.
"(Michigan) has been unable to demonstrate the perceived harm it seeks to protect against," Judge George Caram Steeh wrote in a ruling obtained by Reuters.
He added that the state had failed to show what harm could result from selling games to minors. The judge also said "obvious harm" could arise from "stifling free speech" if the law goes into effect as planned on Dec. 1.
"Plaintiffs have demonstrated that the Act is unlikely to survive strict scrutiny, and that irreparable harm follows from the loss of First Amendment freedoms," Judge Steeh wrote.

There's a lot better shit than this too. I saw a video the other day of a trivia show where a guy is strapped to a chair with a chute rising away from his head. If the guy answers a question wrong they send a sumo ass first down the chute with his ass covered in whip cream. He then assplants the guy in the face at horrific speed. (sorry the best ones don't seem to be on the net)

Man the voice acting is still better than 95% of games today, and such great art and animation.
LucasArts 90's adventure games are like the original Disney animated movies. They might be old and a bit clunky compared to modern CGI fare, but they have a charm unlike anything else.

Client of mine has Servicemaster (tm) come over to clean the carpets. They send out Scruffy the Carpet Cleaner. Scruffy, from a distance, is rather unkempt. However, closer we can see that Scruffy has another issue.
You see, Scruffy showed up to clean the carpets in jeans. Sadly, fly was down on the jeans. Even more sadly, Scruffy had decided to freeball it that day. What really makes this strange is that Scruffy was going in and out of the Client's house for hours... from a warm house to a cold outside to bring stuff in and out. One would think Scruffy's Franks and Beans would notice a climate change.
My client, a divorced mother of 3, was home alone when he showed up. She called a friend who hung out with her until Scruffy was done. However, she couldn't quite find the proper verbage to let him know that his junk was hanging out.

Since you're all being so awesome in the other thread:
My car is completely dead, and I mean completely. No electrics at all. I was thinking battery, but we hooked one up that we know is fine and there's still nothing. The alarm doesn't even come alive (which is a PITA as I can't even disable the immobiliser to roll it).
Any of you guys have any ideas what this could be? Last time I took her out was a week ago, and everything was fine and dandy then.
Anyone else come accross this before?

That's like the best program ever. I've fixed quite a few problems with it at work. I'm a OS guy, but being able to see the plumbing is pretty cool.
