3dmark is a pretty lightshow but next to useless when it comes to evaluating videocards. The companies will simply optimize for 3dmark and those optimizations will mean zilch when it comes to real games.

Since we play games, games are the only thing worth benchmarking. Getting 60 fps vs 90 fps means something, 12345 3dmarks means dick

That screenshot of the next 3D mark is pretty astonishing, a full on city by a lake. It's a shame we're still not at the point where games look at good as the last 3D mark, though Oblivion is pretty darn close.
