First Post!

So the other day I had my first experience with "DVD rot". I hadn't watched the first Terminator in a while, so I put it and after a few seconds my DVD player said it couldn't read the disc. I took out the disc, looked at the bottom and yikes..it was all kinds of messed up. Like there was some kind of strange condensation between the layers of the DVD, and the surface just felt wrong. Did a Google search, and that revealed that this is indeed a problem with MGM's special edition release of Terminator 1 from a few years ago. Hopefully it's just going to be this one movie.
