        In single-player race mode you're racing against the clock, trying to improve your own time. It's not really a race against the computer.

        In multiplayer mode I believe you CAN set collisions on.

        Yeah, that's what I really didn't like about Trackmania. My normal racing gameplay strategy often involves shoving competing cars into walls.

        I have my SNES gamepad hooked up to my PC through a USB adapter. Works fairly well for this.

            I really think it's the greatest controller of all time. I admit that the Dual Shock 2 is a nice controller as well, but the fact that it has so many buttons encourages games to use them. I wish games used no more buttons than the SNES controller has.

            Why hand cramp? My fingers get sore after a couple hours on a SNES controller, but no cramps...

        The PS2 controllers work great with the game if you can get a hold of a USB connector.
