Anyway, Firaxis games are sweet! Pirates! was so well done I thought.
I also picked up Shattered Union, so very nice to see a developer and publisher willing to give a PC turn-based strategy game a chance! How refreshing is that?
Is this trailer going to be on TV? When my Wife sees it I can almost guarantee you she'll be interested in the game since we're both huge West Wing fans. This might be a really smart move for the casual gamers.
The other day I watched JFK and I had forgotten he did the opening monolouge for that movie (and didn't know who he was back when he did it initially) and it gave me goosebumps.
*Allison Jahnney's nickname for him since he can't remember her real name (C.J. Cregg) and, well, he does have a giant head

If only someone cashed in on having Matlock narrate their adverts in the early 90's.

This is a bit offtopic but I wanted to know if a Shattered Union demo is coming? I'm in the mood for turn based strategy so I'm also interested in that but I need to try it out.
I'm getting Civ IV without a demo of course, I love the series. :)

I guess all the grammar nazis got blown up with Munich :(
I don't know about this game, though. I think Civ3 is about the best take-over-the-world game to date, except I have yet to find a strategy game (Civ series, Master of Orion, etc) that has enjoyable AI. They're either always pissed at you and kill you ridiculously fast with their faster tech tree or they get stuck in a bad spot of the map and can't think their way out of it and end up retarded when you find them. L:(

If it's anything like Civ2 in 3d, I'm sold
