Diablo2 Diary
by Steve Gibson, Jan 12, 2000 4:53pm PSTJust about everyone was pissy when Diablo2 was announced as being delayed from last christmas to some time this year. The GameSpot folks have a new developers diary asking a bunch of questions (also 5 new shots, thanks Ant). We've got enough screenshots to make one of those still-frame claymation style movies. I need a new game to play when I'm taking breaks from UT and Q3A damn it!
...All of the artwork and code for these acts have been completed. And some of the Blizzard staff have played all the way through [them]. (It isn't easy, and it takes several full days of dedicated, skillful play.) There are play-balance, polish, and layout issues that we will address before the game is released, of course.
