I really enjoyed RTCW, on the xbox even, but wasn't that developed by someone else(gamespot says Gray Matter)? Not saying Raven is bad but just wondering if it will have the same feel. I really liked that game and never even had a chance to try multiplayer. Unless you call Enemy Territory on the pc the multipalyer...

Escape from the Return to Castle Wolfenstein?

Oddly enough killing zombies, nazis, or nazi zombies never seems to get old. I still shed a tear for games that get developed initially on a console and then get a "PC" port.

I will hold on to my ideals until death, dammit.

Hum, thats bad for PC gaming.
id Software titles and IPs have always been developed for the PC. Now the primary (!) platform is a console. At least the Xbox 360 is very similar to PCs.

Raven makes great games simple, because the core gameplay still has a ID feel to it. Nothing to fancy, but something that works.
Though I do enjoy Raven's multiplayer.

1) Elite Forces CTF totally rocked, too bad not many ppl played it
2) SOF 2 mulplayer was very enjoyable, deathmatch infltration
3) I loved deathmatching in hexen and heretic. Hertic 2 suked though

I finished the RtCW SP twice and played a ton of multiplayer (which is probably the most fun I've ever had with a class-based MP game, I even played for 17 hrs straight during one session -_- ).

As you can guess, I'm looking forward to this.

You know it's not so much the WWII setting that kills WWII games for me, it's the same damn arsenal showing up in 50 seperate games. For me the fun things about killing enemies with new and exciting weapons. That's why I'm slavering over Hellgate: London so much. 80+ crazy magic weapons and they're all upgradable? Yes please.

If this game was all killing nazi zombies (not nazis) with Tesla cannons and Venom miniguns then I'm there, but but the idea of hefting that BAR one more time... ug.
