Remember how when Acclaim went belly up, it was reported that publishing rights to their game licenses would be put up for auction? Well, now it's happening, courtesy of David R. Maltz & Co. Auctions. Acclaim's development efforts were usually nothing to write home about, but the publisher also had a habit of acquiring a ridiculous number of game rights and then failing to actually do anything good with them. The practice has resulted in some really classic games being put up for bidding. Populous, Myst and Riven, Smash TV, the Bust-a-Move games, Burnout and Burnout 2, Double Dragon, as well as the still-unfinished 100 Bullets adaptation, are just a few of the titles up for grabs. Interested parties can see the full list and make offers at the auctioneer's website.
My assumption would be yes, but I don't know specifically.
Did EA have to make any sort of deal to include content from 1 and 2 on Burnout Legends?
According to Ubisoft, some of their best-selling titles on their online store are older Myst games.
