Violence will never EVER be solved. If I want to i\'m going to kill all the kids at my school (at least 100, I could do it). I\'m not going to say \"Oh, jimmy says gun\'s are bad.....\" We have plenty of guns in this house and I even have a SAS and more weapons at a friends house, it\'d be so easy. And no one could stop me, if I want to kill lots of people, I will. Point made.

I think its more of a matter of whether gun control would work in the cultural setup of the US. Other countries like UK, Japan and Singapore have had no problems doing stuff like this and they have seen improvements as well. However it just wouldn\'t work in US because most people would think of it as an infringement on their \"god given\" rights, and would take up arms against the \"guvr\'nment\".
Seriously, the other day i backed up our accounting system on CD, and closed the CD when it was done copying. Then I tried to restore with that CD and everything looked great. But when I went into the accouting program, it crashed constantly. I was shitting bricks for 2 days until a savior at tech support said that all my shit was \'read-only\' and thats why it was crashing, it was trying to write to some files and couldnt. I had to do \"attrib -r *.*\" on about 3 million fucking files. true story.
SO, the point is, if you kill yourself, back up on CD first, but dont CLOSE the CD. Or whenever you restore, you will be the same lameass that you were before the gun ;)

Heh, first of all i\'m not in the US. So your getting out part doesn\'t really make sense.
Secondly, Singapore is NOT a communist country. At least knowing what you are talking about before flaming is usually a good idea.
Thirdly, I did not \"choose\" Singapore. I chose the theory of government and the way of life. Last time I checked, they had not patented it, so its easily applicable to any society.
