Well, this is a big let down for me. After Morrowind, I will not buy ES4 without checking out demo first. A demo would have given some clues whether it's worth getting or not...
Gothic & Gothic 2 have demos that have limited area you can play in. I remember playing Gothic 1 demo in 2001 and being totally blown away by it, despite it's very limited small area. It was the sole reason I ended up buying Gothic and felling in love with the series.

I did however buy Morrowind GOTY edition about 6 months ago and had a blast. Many more hours to be had in that game than most I have played in years.
