BiA, unlike other choices, is the real, true story of 101st Airborne Paratroopers in Europe.

If you've seen Band of Brothers and liked it, you should get it.

The actual places have been recreated as they were.

It's all about the real battles and the real guys in the right places at the right time...

The other games are you vs. the whole german army (every thing else is scripted) with a few scenes stolen from movies thrown in...

BiA is not as open as, say, operation flashpoint, but it's way less linear than COD.

Didnt enjoy the first one at all. The AI both ways were dumb. The game had so many problems that im not givin the next one a chance. Im huge fan of gearbox because they did a good halflife exp years ago but....The game could have been alot better.

My main complaint with BiA is the inability to lean, sprint, or go prone. Same on Gearbox for not implementing those tactics.

Hmmmm, Call of Duty 2 is supposed to have a much more open-ended nature than any other WWII game. The guys at Infinity Ward have been pretty cocky about the game saying stuff like "Were not trying to make the best period shooter, but the best shoorter period." If they can actually succeed then we may not have the cool BiA type squad gameplay but an open-ended WWII game other than scripts at ever corner like CoD 1, which was good none the less.
