Bungie / Halo Interview
by Steve Gibson, Jan 10, 2000 7:03pm PSTBungie.org has an interview with the PR monkey for Bungie games talking about Halo and Oni, as well as a few general Bungie questions. It looks like they plan on using the master server approach for net play in Halo, now if they would just release some more damn screenshots! You guys remember that Halo video footage that came out? That thing is still some of the most amazing in-game footage I've ever seen.

On another note i am gonna be organizing a 40-60 person lan in NYC soon, most likely march 17th to march 19th, maybe a tourney with prizes if I can get some sponsors... I have friends who have money and are willing to make this a very enjoyable event. 2 days, 3 nights, and you can sleep by your computer. We are looking into renting a large hall at a holiday inn, if anyone has any suggestions they are most welcome, k4mil@home.com.
thanks guys, and enjoy the server, its staying up for the night

The young boy sat next to me and I dearly hoped he liked music and wouldn\'t squirm in his seat, so I could enjoy the concert undisturbed. During the concert I noticed the boy whisper to his father once or twice and I couldn\'t help but admire how well-behaved he was.
When the concert was over, the father leaned toward his son and asked, \"Well, Ian, how did you like the concert?\"
The boy, still quite the young gentleman, answered very quietly and very clearly: \"Dad, if you take me here again, I\'ll Fucking kill you.\"
Bleh, Linux has a long way to go before it becomes a general purpose, read \"real\", Desktop OS. A consistent interface, some readable documentation, and wider hardware support for starters. Sure it rocks as a server OS, but most of us don\'t have time hang out messageboards for entire days begging the l33t hax0rs for information on how to get something as simple as cable sharing configured. With other OSes like Windows, MacOS and BeOS, the interface is consistent enough that its intuitive to do anything.
I admit I\'m a lazy llama, ok?

Win2K has been faster and more stable than Win9x since last July. Nothing to do with balls, everything to do with an awesome product.
Oh and you Win2k warezers have got balls. Running a 1.0 microsoft anything is crazy.
