Unreal Tournament 2007 Preview
IGN got to sit down with Epic lead level designer James Brown at the Leipzig Games Convention, asking him about the upcoming Unreal Tournament 2007. The article touches on load times, the environments, and improved gameplay.
"The only load is when you join a server in UT 2007. Once that match ends, the game will pop you right into the next one." James explained that the streaming technology would let the engine anticipate the next bout and prepare for it, which will cut back on a lot of gaming downtime. Expect this to apply to the singleplayer ladder matches and to online engagements. Of course, UT will still provide competitive players an opportunity to check their scores and stats before rocketing them all into another round.

you've got to be kidding. UT 2k7 wont even come near FEAR's gameplay, atmosphere and basically, overall fun factor.
2k7 is just another god damn rehashing of the same shit. great the graphics might look all nice and all. but thats it. judging from everything ive read (and seen), if you watch the screen from say, 10 feet back, ut 2k7, 2k3, 2k3.. all look the bloody same.
now FEAR on the other hand, that game is just pure fuckin style, atmosphere, and good stuff like that. the interactive-ness, weapons, everything. i expect good things from playing the MP and SP demos.
