It fixed the random crashes I had with the official 77.72 drivers. According to the Release Notes they fixed something bad:

All GPUs: Fixed a memory allocation issue that caused general instability in a variety of games.

Thank god one of the bug fixes is the video overlay gamma annoyance. I've tried everything to fix that (including some suggestions from the shack), and nothing worked. Even rolled back the drivers and it didn't go away. Going to try these bad boys out later.
