fun but kind of disappointing how scripted it is. I did the King Arthur battle vs the Saxons, which was easy, so I figure "maybe the Saxons have it harder" so in the opening screen I select Saxons and spend 5 minutes planning out how I'm going to do this (and figuring out where the hell my units hidden in the woods are in relation to everything)

ONLY TO FIND OUT: King arthur's whole army hasn't budged, no AI, no nothing.

I've been playing through R:TW slowly over the last two months and I love the hell out of it. I have to play on easy because I suck but even so, this is awesome to see.

Oh yes! I still play R:TW more than anything else. I just love everything about it. Best strategy + tactics game I've ever played.

There you can find some new battles. I suggest you download the Battlepack. Lots of cool battles there.

Hmmm. Very scripted set of battles for the demo as per usual, it seems like you're designed to play one side pretty particularly

Oh fuck. Just when I uninstall RTW due to my obsession with this game. I mean, look at the pretty onager colors! drools.

Nice, played the death of Rome: TW, so hopefully this breathes new life in the game. One of the most addictive RTS game I've ever played.
